A family home with rooms to share
Jeju Villa & Apartment is a two-storey white house in a green lane at Eramudugaha junction, Unawatuna. Thara and family live here and look after every guest themselves.
Expect spotless rooms, a garden and veranda to sit out on, a breakfast people write home about, and help with anything from airport transfers to the best beach for the day. It is quiet at night, and Galle Fort, Jungle Beach and the cafés of Unawatuna are all a short ride away.

From our lane it is a short ride to Galle Fort and an easy reach to the beaches and sights of the south coast.
Unawatuna
Our home village. The curved bay, its beach cafés and calm swimming water are a short walk or tuk-tuk from the house, yet our lane stays quiet at night.
Galle Fort
The walled, UNESCO-listed old town of Galle, with its ramparts, lighthouse, galleries and cafés. A short tuk-tuk or car ride from Jeju Villa, so it is easy to spend the day in the fort and sleep somewhere peaceful.
Galle city
The main town of the south coast, with the bus and railway stations, markets and banks. Handy if you are arriving by train or travelling on along the coast.
Jungle Beach
A small sheltered cove below Rumassala, popular for swimming and snorkelling. About 2 km from Jeju Villa.
Rumassala & the Peace Pagoda
The forested headland between Unawatuna and Galle harbour, home to the Japanese Peace Pagoda and views back over the fort.
Dewata
A local beach between Unawatuna and Galle that guests like for a quieter swim or a sunset walk. Close enough to walk or take a tuk-tuk.
Dalawella & Thalpe
Rock pools, palm-lined beaches and the famous palm-tree swing, a few minutes further east along the coast road.
Koggala
Koggala lake, its islands and the stilt fishermen of the coast. Koggala Airport is about 9 km from the house.
